About Mycology
Mycology was launched in 2010 by the Institute of Microbiology, CAS & the Myclogical Society of China. Prof. Xingzhong Liu and Prof. Lei Cai, both being highly cited researcher of Clarivate, act as the co-Editors-in-Chief. Mycology aims to provide a platform of academic exchange in need of this growing field, and to serve and engage dialogue between Chinese mycologists and the international community.
Mycology has been strongly supported by mycologists at home and abroad since its inception. It has been indexed in mainstream databases of CABI, CSA, PubMed, Scopus, DOAJ, and Biosis Preview. In 2021, Mycology was further successfully indexed in ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index). The mock impact factor for 2021 is 3.80, ranking 11th among all 30 Journals in Mycology category. Mycology is expected to be formally selected into SCI soon.
Mycology publishes papers in all fields of mycology including fungi, fungus-like organisms and lichens. As the China’s only self-founded international journal in the field, Mycology shows a continuously growing scientific influence in the field.
