IMC12：International Mycological Congress

Dear colleagues,

As President of the International Mycological Association, and Chair of the IMC12, we are writing to inform you about the upcoming International Mycological Congress that we hope you can pass along to your society members and fellow mycologists.

The organizing committee of the IMC12, along with the International Mycological Association has made the difficult decision to postpone the IMC12, which was originally planned to be held in Amsterdam in July 2022. The COVID-19 pandemic has had negative consequences for planning the upcoming IMC, and will still restrict international travel for some time to come. One of the main aims of IMC meetings is to engage the youth, facilitate face-to-face meetings, and hands-on workshops in mycology. To this end, we have decided to postpone IMC12 to 2024. As organizers we are confident that we will be able to host an excellent Congress in the Netherlands in 2024. Additional details on the plans for 2024 will follow soon.
