Professor Dr. Zhao Rui-Lin is interesting in the biodiversity of agaric (gilled mushrooms), and related molecular phylogeny and DNA barcoding works. She has carried out the research at the University of Toronto, INRA France, National Botanic Garden of Belgium, San Francisco State University, USA, Mai Fang Luang University, Thailand and Hong Kong University. Associate editor of the journal Fungal Diversity since 2012.
